Private Label Rights (PLR) articles are ones that you purchase and you can rewrite them to suit your needs and make them unique. Using them as a starting point to create your own portfolio of articles is an effective way to drive traffic to your website or blog. The way to do this is to submit the articles to article directories such as OnTopicArticles.com with links back to your own sites.

After you have purchased a bundle of PLR articles it is in your best interest to rewrite at least a portion of each one to make it unique – you want the web crawlers to recognize them so they are not duplicates and index the links back to your site. There is a good chance that the PLR articles you have purchased have been sold to others so take the time to complete this important step. To realize a greater profit and more traffic to your site, you can rewrite the same article multiple times and as long as the majority of the content is unique you can submit each rewritten article to the same directory for maximum exposure. The more PLR articles you have submitted, the more links you will have and both of these facts can equal higher traffic numbers and better page ranks.

The common percentage guidelines that are used are to rewrite an article 20-50%. Keep keywords the same though, you want people to find and click on your articles. As long as you have the time, you can continue to rewrite your PLR articles and purchase new ones. There is no limit to the possibilities available to you if you are motivated to get traffic to your website through the use of PLR articles and article directories.

Another time saving tip is to submit your articles to the larger article directories, many smaller sites will feed off of the content on the larger sites. You may find that an article you submitted to one site is suddenly picked up and available on three more, this is great news! Quality content is going to spread along with the links back to your site, making you an expert in your niche.

The more involved you become in whatever you will be offering, the quicker you build your online presence and business. Think about a way you can offer something - it may be stating a forum, a directory or ‘training centre’ relating to your online business.

Be creative and find out what service you can offer that is related to your business!

2) Really CARE about the customers.

I cannot stress enough how important this is! If your customers feel you do Not care about them, not only will they move on but they will not recommend anyone they know to visit you for anything you may be offering. (free or otherwise)… This goes a very long way in helping you grow your online business.

Be honest with the customers/prospects - if they told you their situation and needs, and ask you if a product you are offering would suit what they need - tell them the truth.

Do not just focus on making a sale - focus on actually helping the person. On the other hand, if the prospect is very interested in what you are offering and ask you for more information, take the time to answer any question they may have as quickly as possible.

Once you start to show your customers that you care, your online business will start growing as more prospects and customers trust you and buy from you and they feel comfortable recommending your services or products to others. Customers like getting a good deal - this may be in terms of a low price for the product or some valuable bonuses or gifts after purchase.

4) Maintain customer contact on a regular basis.

With auto responders and other tools that automate online businesses, it is very easy to treat your prospects just like a list of names and not as individual people you care about it.

Your list is your best asset - show it that you care by keeping in touch and also making some good free offers to them. It pays to send some regular ‘non-selling’ emails that can also be offering some free tips and ideas.

By doing this you build trust - and the prospects will soon be your long term customers for your online business. Your existing customers will bring you repeat business.
